igLite® LCD 1×5 is Topaz’s low-cost, pressure-sensitive electronic signature capture pad. It features all the high-quality biometric and forensic capture techniques of a SignatureGem® LCD tablet but with a low-cost touchpad and stylus in place of the more rugged digitizing pen and inert tempered glass surface of the SignatureGem tablet series.

Featuring an LCD touchpad and stylus, these models show the signature on the signature pad, as well as the computer screen.

Signotec Sigma Σ WITHOUT Backlight HID 2M
The signotec Sigma signature pad sets a new standard for electronic signature capture devices, in terms of its size and the resolution of the display. Among the device’s unique features, are the outstanding display of graphics and text, the technical properties for digitising signatures, its extremely flat design and, above all, its smooth surface and a sensor flushed with the housing. This design enables signing to be highly ergonomic. The rounded sides also allow the heel of the hand to pass fluidly from the device to the table without disrupting the signing process.

The high sensor rate also allows for “swinging” signatures, without the user inadvertently reaching the limits of the sensor. This is vital to ensure that the signature is captured naturally and securely. Furthermore, graphical and textual information can be displayed, which often plays an important role in stationary use. As a result, the pad is also an inexpensive alternative for stationary applications.

The transfer of data from the pad to PC is encrypted, thereby it is not possible to spy on the biometric features of the signature. Since the electronics, firmware, drivers and applications have been developed by signotec itself, the hardware and software are matching perfectly.

The powerful signature pad captivates with a flat surface without edges between sensor and case, for ultra-ergonomic signing. Pen and sensor convey a feeling similar to writing on paper. Plus, the rounded sides allow the heel of the hand to transition smoothly from signature tablet to table, without disrupting the signing process. The pen itself has the size and feel of an actual ballpoint pen and works entirely without electronics and power supply. Replacing the passive pen is inexpensive and the pad can continue to be used if the pen is lost.

Futronic FS80H USB2.0 Fingerprint Scanner
Its finger scanning window is a crown glass with a thickness of 14mm. So it is much more reliable and robust compared to any semiconductor type fingerprint sensor.

The finger is illuminated by 4 infra-red LEDs during scanning and the light intensity is automatically adjusted according to scanning fingerprint’s characteristics (wet, dry, blurred, etc) to optimize the quality of the captured fingerprint image.

Special electronic circuit is built into FS80H to do Live Finger Detection (LFD). With appropriate software in PC, user can select this LFD feature so that only live finger’s fingerprint will be scanned into PC. Fake fingers made from silicone rubber, play-doh, etc, will be rejected. And the LFD feature is included in all Futronic’s standard software.
