ACR1252U is capable of the three modes of NFC, namely: card reader/writer, card emulation and peer-to-peer communication. It supports ISO 14443 Type A and B cards, MIFARE®, FeliCa, and ISO 18092–compliant NFC tags. It also supports other NFC devices with an access speed of up to 424 Kbps and proximity operating distance of up to 50mm (depending on tag type used).
Compliant with both CCID and PC/SC, this plug-and-play USB NFC device allows interoperability with different devices and applications. It is thus ideal for unconventional marketing and advertising applications like smart posters.
The ACR1252U comes with an optional stand to hold the smart card reader at an optimal angle, so that users can tap contactless cards or NFC-enabled devices onto the ACR1252U with ease.
The DualBoost Series has PC/SC compliance for both contact and contactless interfaces. It makes use of high-speed communication for contactless cards at a maximum of 848 kbps, which makes it suitable for highly demanding applications. It also provides intelligent support for hybrid and combi cards, such that it detects a contactless card even that has been incorrectly placed in the contact card slot. Lastly, the DualBoost has a built-in SAM slot for added security in both contact and contactless applications.
With additional features such as USB firmware upgradability, contact memory card support and extended APDU support, ACR1281U-C1 DualBoost II is a highly cost-effective, powerful all-in-one device that offers convenience and flexibility to many smart card applications.
Housing the ACR38 core, ACR38U-H1 supports ISO 7816 Class A, B, and C smart cards (5 V, 3 V, and 1.8 V), microprocessor cards with the T=0, and T=1 protocols. In addition, it supports a wide variety of memory cards in the market, including the Department of Defense Common Access Card (CAC). This makes it ideal for a broad range of solutions, such as PIV Application, Physical and Logical Access Control, Digital Signature and Online Banking.
ACR38U-H1 is easy to install, use, and integrate in a computer-based environment. It is PC/SC and CCID compliant, and its drivers are compatible with Windows®, Linux® and Mac OS®. In addition, ACR38U-H1 may now be used on mobile devices running the Android™ platform with versions 3.1 and above.
With its various features, ACR38U-H1 can be used in numerous operations for e-Banking and e-Payment, Access Control, Transportation, and e-Government applications.
